The Last Shepherd

Overview

On the desolate planet of Elysium-7, Silas Thorne lives as a ghost in the ruins of an abandoned research outpost. To the universe, he is an eccentric hermit. To himself, he is a prophet-chosen by God to protect a sacred ""flock"" from a corrupt outer world. When cartographer Elara Vance crashes near the outpost, she believes she has found a benevolent savior. Silas welcomes her with open arms, but the comforting veneer of his devotion soon begins to crack. Deep within the belly of the facility lies a chilling secret: rows of pristine bio-stasis units holding hundreds of perfectly preserved, frozen human beings. As Interstellar Investigations Detective Kaelen Vance arrives to track down the missing cartographer, she is drawn into a high-stakes psychological game of cat-and-mouse. In this claustrophobic sci-fi thriller, the line between salvation and damnation is terrifyingly thin-and escaping the ark might mean facing the ultimate slumber.
