Overview

After his daughter kidnapping and brutal murder, Steven Loomis cannot simply be satisfied with no answer, no reason, no purpose; so he pours himself into finding out why, why this monster has taken his little girl. But what he finds was nothing he was expecting, something he simply cannot comprehend. Science has found a subspecies of human, a species for whom predatory instincts are inborn, who don't see hunting or stepping on someone as something evil, something they're simply born to do. It is a species with higher IQ, with better cognizant abilities, not encumbered by scruples or morals, faster reflexes and physiological. Tyrone Leonard M.D., the leader of the research into the new subspecies takes Steven deep into the science of the new species. In short, Dr. Tyrone Leonard has found the next step in the human evolution, he has found Homo sapiens predaer, more commonly known as Homo sapiens predator.

Reviews

When one thinks at first of the premise of the book, one smiles and shakes one's head...when one takes three more steps it's much harder to smile. -Dr. Grady Bufflie- I fail to see why it's so difficult to believe that human beings have evolved over time, maybe they've evolved in a way that presents some dangerous possibilities, but it's evolution, just evolution. -Murdoch Freeman Phd.- 'I wonder what gazelles would say if we interviewed them and asked them all about lions. They would say the lions are the embodiment of evil, they hunt, they kill, they target the weak. But in the end it's just their nature, it's what they've evolved to be. I could see how humans could go through a similar evolution.' -Dr. Jeffrey Savitz- 'I thought I'd be coming in halfway through the story, but after 50 pages I felt completely caught up and I couldn't get through it fast enough. There are some very interesting legal ideas in the book, but it also keeps you on the edge of your seat with all the action. The fact that the science is true made it far more interesting for me.' -Harold Boudrow J.D.-
