The author set out from a sheltered childhood, met, angels and demons, survived and pushed on under the cloud of unknowing. Twenty years ago, he met a woman at a convention in San Francisco. She, mother of four daughters; he, father of three sons. Both had journey through the high places and the tough valleys.
