Reviews

Darejan writes: This book will take you on a veritable roller coaster of emotions. Green will make you laugh, cry and ponder the meaning of life before you even reach chapter two. This is the story of Hazel Grace, a teenage cancer victim. She visits a weekly support group (to make her mum happy) which is full of kids like her. While she is initially reluctant to go to these group sessions, she doesn't know that support group is about to become a whole lot more interesting with the arrival of the charming and enigmatic Augustus Waters . As you may have guessed this is a book about love. It is also about loss, friendship and family. Most of all it is about life, the choices we make and the choices that make us. This is a book that deserves to be read and re-read. It would be a difficult task to find fault with Green's 'The Fault in Our Stars'.

A novel of life and death and the people caught in between, The Fault in Our Stars is John Green at his best. You laugh, you cry, and then you come back for more. - Markus Zusak, author of The Book Thief. An electric portrait of young people who learn to live life with one foot in the grave. Filled with staccato bursts of humor and tragedy, The Fault in Our Stars takes a spin on universal themes - Will I be loved? Will I be remembered? Will I leave a mark on this world? - by dramatically raising the stakes for the characters who are asking. - Jodi Picoult.
