Author Information

Martin Fitzpatrick was formerly Senior Lecturer and Senior Research Associate at the Department of History and Welsh History, the University of Wales, Aberyswyth. He is co-editor of Enlightenment and Dissent. Peter Jones is Professor Emeritus of Philosophy and was Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at the University of Edinburgh. Christa Knellwolf is affiliated to the Austrailian National University and co-editor (with Christopher Norris) of 'The Cambridge History of Literary Criticism, vol.9.’ Iain McCalman is the Director of the Humanities Research Centre at the Australian National University and general editor of An Oxford Companion to the Romantic Age: British Culture 1776-1832'
