Author Information

Jane Yolen has been called the Hans Christian Andersen of America and the Aesop of the twentieth century. She has written over three hundred books, including Owl Moon and The Devil's Arithmetic. She splits her time between Massachusetts and Scotland. Holly Black, acclaimed author of contemporary fantasy novels, is the author of the Newbery Honor-winning novel Doll Bones and the coauthor, with Tony DiTerlizzi, of the #1 New York Times bestselling Spiderwick Chronicles. She has been a finalist for the Mythopoeic Award and the Eisner Award and a recipient of the Andre Norton Award. Coming soon... Tim Campbell, winner of AudioFile Earphones Awards, is a narrator and actor based in Los Angeles, California. He studied at the University of California and earned a BA in music and theater and a certification from the prestigious Great Books program at Pepperdine University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is also a classically trained singer and performs regularly with the Los Angeles Master Chorale and Los Angeles Opera Chorus, as well as on studio soundtracks for film and television. Helen Lloyd is a British actor and voice artist who recorded her first voice-over at the age of fourteen. Since then, she has spent much of her life interpreting other people's words and bringing characters to life. A classically trained actor, she has performed with many of Britain's leading repertory theaters, as well as at the Edinburgh Festival, the Roundhouse, and on the West End. Esther Wane is a British actor and voice-over artist. After a career in finance, she fulfilled a childhood dream of going to drama school in London, and her life as an actor began at age forty. She has a lifelong passion for literature and can often be found browsing bookshops during any spare moments. Wane enjoys taking her listeners on a journeys in time and space and bringing the characters on the page to life in their imagination. She lives with her family and collection of books in Hertfordshire, just outside London.
