Author Information

Karen G. Hunter was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and now resides in Centerville, Virginia. She has been an educator for over 30 years, specializing in early literacy. Since retiring, she has ventured into early childhood education using the Montessori method. It was while working on her American Montessori Society Certification that Karen wrote this children's book. The inspiration for this story is her love for her grandchildren, as well as her work with children from all walks of life, who are all beautiful and unique, in their own special way. There is such beauty in diversity. Bryant George was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana where he first developed his interest in art and drawing. He attended the University of New Orleans where he received a BA in fine arts with a concentration in digital media. It was there where he learned graphic design and became proficient in numerous digital arts and editing programs. He later became interested in illustration and went on to achieve a MA from the Savannah College of Art with a concentration in sequential art. Bryant is very versatile and can use a variety of mediums for various types of projects, including comic books, children's books.
