Author Information

Cynthia Knox is an award-winning artist who specialises in works of traditional realism. She is a Signature Member of the Coloured Pencil Society of America, a juried member of the International Guild of Realism, commissioned portrait artist, and occasional art instructor. Her artwork is in shows, private collections, and on her website. Pat Averill considers herself primarily self-taught, although she has attended an array of workshops and seminars on oil, water-colour, and coloured pencil. She considers the way she figuratively inhales the colours, values, and shapes she observes around her to be an integral part of her artistic process. Eileen Sorg is an award-winning artist who lives on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State with her husband, Scott, and their terrier, Scout. Working primarily with a mixed media technique of coloured pencil, water-colour, and ink, Eileen always strives for unique compositions that set her work apart. Debra Kauffman Yaun discovered that she had a knack for drawing people when she was a young girl growing up in Tampa, Florida. She has drawn and painted many commissioned portraits, several of which have been of children - her favorite subject to draw. Debra's artwork has been published in several art magazines and books, and she has won numerous awards.
