OverviewWe are often told to ""dream big"". Yet, in everyday life, we often have dreams where we try to make sense of what does not make sense in waking hours. One reason why dreams are ""beyond reason"" and unsatisfying, logically: they leave one disturbed, if you remember them and try to make sense of What and How You Understand Life. But what are called ""hallucinations"" are equally illogical, a product of the ""Brain seeing things that are not the result of sensory perception of the eyes"". If your eyes see something else and the brain something else, it is called a ""hallucination"" by psychologists. But, otherwise, dreams are just like hallucinations: only the brain ""sees"" them, not the eyes, as eyes are closed when you are asleep. The difference between those termed ""not normal"", and those billions out there thought ""normal"" (?) is that the latter differentiate between dreams (which are ""hallucinations, trying to make sense of things that, in real life, are disturbingly illogical"", and minds desperately want to ""resolve problems"", though we are, largely, incapable of ""controlling dreams""), and reality. Those called ""not normal"" have brains that do not get ""enough rest"" and so the brain uses its own device. It creates dreams while awake, though not ""daydreams"", but ""hallucinations"", which substitute reality, in order to give relief to minds, to help cope with very bad lives. Just as ""normal people"" do not remember most of their dreams, and yet, all humans dream most of their sleeping hours (called Rapid Eye Movement phase, REM), similarly, ""not normal"" people mostly do not remember their ""relieving day-time dreams"" (""hallucinations""). Those called ""not normal"" are often people subject to a lot of abuse in life: extremely bad life circumstances, including lack of love, lack of money, lack of jobs; or cruel relatives who mentally and/or physically abuse them, like husbands who beat up wives, relatives who beat them up but whom they cannot avoid, since they have nowhere else to go. This is a short book of poems on why what is easily classified ""abnormality"" is a way minds cope with Outside Realities that are Beyond Control, and remain out of control, much more than in other people's lives, because Life and People don't give them a chance... Unless, of course, they break the law, or rules that conscience directs them toward. The dishonest and the criminals are actually abnormal people. They have no scruples about changing Reality, by hook or by crook, and remain... ""Happy""?
