Overview

1993. Senior year is chewing Lori up. She's a latchkey kid from the wrong side of town, her teachers are tyrants, and the preppy kids are all coming for her. Her only escape is on stage with her grunge band, Crying Lilacs. When Roosevelt High announces a Battle of the Bands with a shot at nationals, the Lilacs are the favorites. Then the threats start.
