Author Information

Gilvan C. Souza is an Associate Professor of Operations Management at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. He received a Ph.D. in operations management from the University of North Carolina in 2000, an MBA from Clemson University in 1995, and a BS in aeronautical engineering from ITA (Brazil) in 1990. He is a senior Editor for Production and Operations Management (POM), and won the Wickham Skinner Early-Career Research Accomplishments award from the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) in 2004 and the Wickham Skinner Best Paper Award from POMS in 2008.
