OverviewThe motivational memoir from bestselling author and sporting icon Gareth Thomas You're not born with resilience but you can find it on the journey with hard work, belief and the help of those around you. Gareth Thomas has learned to push on even when everything seems most futile. His willingness to expose his deepest emotional frailties as a man and come through even stronger as a result has made him a national hero. In the Sunday Times Bestseller PROUD, Gareth focused closely on the intense experience of coming out in a very public arena of global sport. STRONGER is the broader story of how Gareth has managed to deal with the adversity life has thrown at him across the years, from childhood to his most recent gruelling announcement that he was HIV positive.
