Overview

I wish someone could've told me by seventeen I would get raped by my uncle. That no one would believe me. Maybe then I could've prepared myself. No one was there to protect me. Instead I was thrown to the wolves. I had to find a way out, to escape all this madness. Before you judge me, what would you have done if you were in my position?

I'm not a big talker so I'll get to the point.. This book is fire!!! I'm not a real big Urban fiction reader, but I couldn't put this book down for a minute!! I was putting people on hold while I was at work to keep reading this book and I work a customer service job!!! There's goes my stats for the week!!!! The book was a breath of fresh air.. I hear a lot of my friends who read these type of books complaining about reading the same hook, line, and sinker!!! Great book, waiting for the next!!!! -- J Manney amazon.com

Author Information

If the eyes are the windows to the soul then Sa'Rese's eyes are more like mirrors reflecting a mixture of hope, pain, joy, and a glimpse of the little girl that was forced to grow up at an early age. Born on June 18th, 1982 in Nuremberg, Germany, Sa'Rese grew up an army brat. She had seen most of the country by the time she was 8 and was destined to live the charmed life until tragedy struck landing her and her older brother in the midwest. Cleveland, Ohio. A graduate of South High School, Sa'Rese then went to Clark Atlanta University where she studied psychology her freshman year before transferring to The Ohio State University to take up Fashion Merchandising.
