He worked for several Italian magazines until 1949, when he moved to the United States. There, he was assigned by Dell Publishing Co. to illustrate famous series like Zorro, Tarzan and Cisco Kid. In 1960 he returned to Italy, where he founded the Giolitti Studios. The studios produced a wide range of comics, varying from Looney Toons (Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck) to Flash Gordon.
