From a very early age, Gretchen expressed her creativity through painting, sketching, and writing little stories to go along with her doodles and has had a longtime dream of becoming a children's book author.She has always chosen a creative path in her life, to allow her the flexibility to be there for her three children and all of their activities. Since her children have all grown up, Gretchen pursued her real estate license a few years ago and has currently been working as a real estate agent in California. Working with people and helping them achieve their goals is something she truly enjoys and finds rewarding.Beanie the Weenie is Gretchen's first published book, followed by book two, Frank the Tank. She is currently working on a chapter book for grade-school children and is truly enjoying the process of bringing new stories to life.
