Author Information

Author Cherie Doyen is a mother of two daughters, grandmother of two, and I has been a foster mother of two children. Her whole life, she has been a relentlessly passionate advocate for children (small and grown). She works on a daily basis with women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Recently, she founded a not-for-profit called, Women Rising. A foundation created with the intention of creating safe-homes for women and children in transition. She truly believes that enjoying nature and animals, and their healing wisdom, helps us quiet societal noise (how we are supposed to feel and what we are supposed to do). This gives us space to pay attention to what makes us truly feel good. Connect with nature and animals and you truly connect with yourself!
