Overview

Socially isolated, with only Greedo, his Scottish Terrier, for a companion, introvert Victor Dickens endures much harassment. Assaults and rumors render him housebound except for household errands or work. Yet, even at home, peace and quiet elude him. His neighbors regularly deface his home: spray-painted insults, dead grass slurs, and broken windows. They holler threats at Vic every time he steps outside. The breaking point is fast approaching. And lo, comes the day when Vic's beloved dog dies of suspicious circumstances. Presuming murder, he spies on his neighbors, finding himself eavesdropping when rabble-rouser Knut Jansson attempts to mobilize them into a Vic-killing mob. Proactively, Vic permanently removes Knut from his life. On the run, believing the authorities are after him, Vic discovers an inscribed pamphlet on his windshield from the Silent Minority. Aware of his crime - and wholeheartedly approving - this assemblage of bullied introverts is dedicated to revenge. The group invites Vic into their ranks, providing him with an all-expenses paid, fully furnished apartment to lie low in. Of course, such generosity comes with a price. It doesn't take long before Vic is forced to accompany the Silent Minority on strikes against various human pi ata practitioners and fear-mongering celebrities. Not long after joining the group, Vic begins to question the real motives behind the Silent Minority. Whose voice speaks through their robot mascot? Where do the group's non-conformers vanish to? The answers may exceed even his worst fears.
