OverviewThe first half of this poetic conversation offers the people's voice - how Hoi Polloi survive under a Tory government. The voices ramble into ridiculous scenarios concerning the fate of the planet Earth and its inhabitants. They switch to the sublime with musical meanderings as if even music would disappear...not transfer into a new world. Like any rollicking conversation, this ventures up alleyways and down theatrical stairs. Part call to arms, part wistful reverie dressed in disillusionment, this is a bizarre and at times alarming conversation born of the entangled dreams and nightmares of two quite different poets. All life is in here, from Morris dancers to urine sipping celebrities, dreamers to zombies, their strange tales told with affection and more than a touch of eccentricity. - Diana Devlin & Irene Cunningham, 2019 Full Product DetailsAuthor: Diana Devlin , Irene CunninghamPublisher: Hedgehog Poetry Press Imprint: Hedgehog Poetry Press Volume: 002 Dimensions: Width: 14.80cm , Height: 0.20cm , Length: 21.00cm Weight: 0.045kg ISBN: 9781916480643ISBN 10: 1916480640 Pages: 24 Publication Date: 15 February 2019 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: In stock We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier.
