Roadside Assistance: A Roadside Press Reader brings together work from 48 poets and writers whose books have been published by Roadside Press during our first four years. Drawn from the authors' Roadside Press titles, the anthology highlights the wide range of voices the press has championed-from raw, working-class realism and narrative prose to lyric, experimental, and deeply personal poetry. Featuring both longtime small-press veterans and newer writers, the collection reflects Roadside Press's commitment to independent literature, honest storytelling, and writing that lives outside the mainstream. Part sampler, part celebration, Roadside Assistance offers a snapshot of the community that has formed around the press since its founding.
