Alongside regular musical performance, creation and education, she completed her PhD in ethnomusicology at King’s College London in 2020, and has since lectured at SOAS University of London on topics including music and colonialism, decolonial ethnographic methods, music and ecology, embodiment, trance ritual and divinity.
