Author Information

Daria Protopopescu is Associate Professor in the English Department at the University of Bucharest. She holds a PhD in Philology and specializes in terminology, translation studies, syntax, and the history of English. She authored Elements of English Terminology (2013) and co-authored New Perspectives on English Grammar (2014). She is a member of the Centre for the Translation and Interpretation of the Contemporary Text (CTITC). Nadina Vișan, Full Professor in the same department, focuses on historical linguistics and translation studies. She authored A DRT Analysis of the Perfect in English and Romanian (2006) and Elements of English Lexicology (2015). She is also a CTITC member. Mihaela Zamfirescu, Associate Professor, earned her PhD in 2012 on polarity items in English and Romanian. She coordinates the MA in Conference Interpretation. Eliana Ionoaia, Senior Lecturer, teaches 19th-20th century British literature. Her research spans mythology, memory, gender studies, Neo-Victorian literature, and translation. She is also a CTITC member.
