Author Information

Ken Blanchard, PhD, is a prominent, gregarious, sought-after author, speaker, and business guru. He is the author of several bestselling books, including the blockbuster international bestseller The One Minute Manager and the giant business bestsellers Leadership and The One Minute Manager, Raving Fans, and Gung Ho! His books have combined sales of more than twenty million copies in more than forty languages. He is the Chief Spiritual Officer of the Ken Blanchard Companies, a global human resource development company that he and his wife, Dr. Marjorie Blanchard, founded in 1979 in San Diego. He is also a cofounder of Lead like Jesus, a nonprofit organization committed to inspiring and equipping people to be servant leaders in the marketplace. Morton Shaevitz is the clinical director of Shaevitz and Associates; a voluntary associate clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine; and the chair of the geriatric psychology section of the California Psychological Association and served on the Leadership Council of the Stein Institute for Research on Aging.
