Overview

The term Filos means friend in Greek ( ). Though the value of friendship is well established in academic literature and teachers use positive peer modeling all the time, how can we maximize the benefits of friendships every day in our homes? The goal of Reading with Filos is to create a friend for your child that is always available, always compassionate, ever patient, and always loves back. This book is a teaching tool for parents and teachers to establish a bond with Filos while introducing the reader to specific individualized targets that promote personal growth.
