Johnson is Associate Professor in the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California and the Director of Student Engagement in the University of Southern California Race and Equity Center. Uju Anya is Associate Professor of Second Language Acquisition at Carnegie Mellon University. She is the author of Racialized Identities in Second Language Learning: Speaking Blackness in Brazil. Liliana M. Garces is Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Texas at Austin and Affiliate Faculty at the Center for Mexican American Studies and the University of Texas School of Law.
