His interdisciplinary research spans comparative literature, media studies, and the history of medicine, with a focus on short literary forms, urban space, and material culture in medieval, early modern, and contemporary contexts. Recent projects include a funded study, ""Literature is Everywhere: A Comparative Field Guide to Urban Literary Landscapes in Three Cities: Istanbul, Chicago, Berlin"" (2023-2026). His publications explore topics such as the materiality of short literature, the interplay between literature and medicine, and the materials of public literary expression.
