Prof Munir has written and edited two books on PPRV and several books on other viruses and is author of over 25 chapters in different books and has published over 170 research articles in the field of virology. Prof Munir is leading virologist and has been speaking to global media for over 1000 times including BBC, CNN, SkyNews, Al-Jazeera, France 24, iTV, DW, CGTN, amongst others to discussed different emerging viral diseases, around the globe. Dr. Muhammad Abubakar is a veterinary epidemiologist and has over 20 years experience in different areas of animal health. Dr Abubakar has written and edited books on various aspects of animal health and has published over 100 research and review articles in the field of epidemiology and microbiology. Dr Abubakar is also leading One health expert and has participated in the development of national action plans relating to AMR and zoonosis.
