Serena Brown Travis is committed to reaching the masses with her messages of positivity, overcoming obstacles, and moving towards success. Her passion in this arena stems from her father, the legendary motivational speaker, Les Brown and their family business focused on self-development and inspiration. The book series focuses on building self-confidence, pride, and a sense of self-worth among young readers, recognizing that children are dealing with challenging social, economic, and family issues having devastating consequences for their future. The goal of Serena's books is to shine a light in dark places and give solutions to help young readers conquer, defeat, and win in everyday life. As a speaker, bestselling children's author, and international bestselling author, Serena earned her Bachelors of Arts from Hampton University and Masters in marketing and communication from Franklin University. She also accepted her call from a higher power and is a student at Trinity Lutheran Seminary at Capital University pursing a Masters in theological studies.
