Author Information

Kristin is a Canadian children's author and sociologist who loves writing stories, her fantastic family and friends, Popsicles and popcorn and peanut butter (but not at the same time), yoga and mindfulness, badminton (it's so fun!), her goofy Bernedoodle, and working to make the world a more equal, just, and sustainable place for us all. Before writing for children, Kristin taught in the university sector and has held many leadership positions as an equity scholar and advocate. You can find out more about Kristin on her website and on Instagram @authorkristinb. Elisabet is a Peruvian illustrator and graphic designer based in Lima, Peru. She loves sunny days in December, drawing fluffy squirrels and all types of pudding. As of 2025, she is an MA in Children's Book Illustration in Cambridge School of Art, ARU!
