OverviewBook Description Notes for a Species with Memory is neither a fable nor a moral treatise. It is a series of observations written from a chicken coop, a place where life unfolds without speeches, promises, or alibis. Through minimal scenes-hunger, noise, punishment, order, obedience-the book confronts the uneasy distance between animal logic and the refined violence of the human world. There are no models to imitate and no consoling lessons, only a silent mirror that returns a persistent question: what have we done with the ability to think? This book does not seek answers. It interrupts excuses. Author's Note I write from observation and discomfort, not from theory or slogans. This book emerged from standing close to a chicken coop and recognizing, in that minimal space, the fractures of human reasoning. I do not propose solutions or redemptions. I observe, contrast, and take responsibility for the gaze. I write to dismantle alibis-beginning with my own.
