OverviewExcerpt from Ninth Report of the Secretary of the Class of 1871 of Harvard College: June, 1901 Austin, amory. I was for a short time the New port secretary of the Harvard Club of Rhode Island, and am secretary of the Newport Natural History Society. Have read five or six papers before the Society, mainly upon ichthy ological subjects, although I am more of a fisherman than an ichthyologist, and in 1900 I edited the Society's report. Am a member of the Council of the Rhode Island Society of Colonial Wars, and a member of the Rhode Island Society of Sons of the American Revolution.
