Author Information

Odangowei Inetiminebi Ogidi is a Lecturer and Acting Head, Department of Biochemistry, Bayelsa Medical University, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Biotechnology. He has also served as a Lecturer, Head of Departments of Science Laboratory Technology and Biochemistry, and Deputy Director, Centre for Continuing Education in Federal Polytechnic Ekowe, Bayelsa State. He has authored over 80 peer-reviewed academic articles in reputable local and international journals, published over 40 book chapters and presented over 35 conference papers. He is a member of various Journal Editorial Boards. He is indexed in World Scientist and University Ranking (AD Scientific Index ID 4306173) amongst other international bodies. He have supervised over 30 ND and HND students and currently supervising over 10 undergraduate students. His research interest has been Environmental Biotechnology, Phytomedicine, Phytochemistry, Human and Environmental health risk assessments and ecotoxicology amongst others. He is a member of West Africa Society of Toxicology, Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Foundation for African Development through International Biotechnology and Nigerian Environmental Society.
