This is a wonderful and engaging children's book. I found myself reading it in the voice of eight-year-old Nashida. Author Information

Meredith Coleman McGee is the author of five books and a contributor of four additional works including several children's books. McGee is also a contributing writer for the Jackson Advocate, the acquisition editor and publisher of Meredith McGee, and a children's advocate. Loretha Wallace is an author, poet, and illustrator. She created the Nashida character for the Moses Meredith Children's Book Series which is displayed in Nashida: Visits the Smith Robertson Museum and Nashida: Visits the Mississippi State Capitol.
