OverviewMultiply with Moose & Melve: Facts of 4 is a book series written especially for children who need to learn multiplication facts. The series begins with Facts of 2 and ends with Facts of 9, and the back cover of each book contains the facts that are not covered in the series. Children will have fun learning the facts with Moose, Melve, and many of their friends. As children peruse each book, they discover that Moose or Melve has a problem, or has gotten into some type of scrape. Sometimes they get out of their sticky situations, sometimes they don't. Each multiplication fact is put to rhyme and has a colorful picture to accompany the rhyme to make it easier for children to remember that fact. There are also fill-in-the-blank pages that rehearse the rhymes but omit the answers, pattern pages to help students learn and discover patterns in the answers to the facts, and flashcard pages for extra practice.
