Overview

Melody died in an automobile accident the weekend after high school graduation. It was a hot summer day and she was lucky enough to be with the captain of the football team, not as his date, but in the back seat of his convertible with some other jock friend of the star, who is at the wheel. Melody the cheerleader was a genuinely pretty petite blonde with cobalt blue eyes and a sweet disposition. She never much cared for the football or basketball players, but she loved convertibles. On that fateful day it will be the death of her. Some twenty years later, Keagan Port, the really smart kid (the geek before they became popular) in that same graduating class is no longer living in the shadows. Sure, he's still a really quiet and private person, but he's gotten a lot of exposure since high school. Sadly it is Keagan who is still mourning Melody. Having had a crush on her since fifth grade, he never quite got over her death. When he returns for the twenty year high school reunion, it is Melody who will change his life.

Author Information

Hi, I'm Tim Campbell, Writer, Publisher, Daydreamer, Participating member Steampunk Writers and Artist Guild (S.W.A.G.) Registered Writer - International Artscentric Guild Registry I've heard it said that true writers constantly create stories about the strangers around them. Well, if that's all it takes, I've made the cut. I certainly love people watching and I manufacture backgrounds and stories about them as well. I have an AS, a BA and an MS. I'm proud to be a US Navy Submarine veteran. Just to offset that time below the surface, I've also flown small aircraft from the control seat. I've done all kinds of work: sales, broadcasting, publishing, teaching, and for two decades I was a chief financial officer in the health care industry. But my greatest professional pleasure comes from writing. I've been published in magazines and newspapers over the past thirty-two years, but my passion is writing novels. In addition to All's Fair, (2003) and What Goes Around, (2011), there are no less than forty-nine (yep, I know that's crazy, but still ...) manuscripts in various stages of construction to follow those. Oh, and I also love to read and review. That's working, in the living part of life, my greatest pleasure comes in two outstanding adult children, a son and a daughter, who were born to us and one daughter in law who chose to join us along with at least twenty or more adopted kids who also call me Papa. Just to avoid wasting any time, and in addition to writing, I work with several friends who are currently developing two publishing/printing imprints, a sound and art studio as well as an online bookseller. Soon ... very soon we are going to have blogs on our retail site that will interview authors, review books and movies and, who knows what might follow. So, as I learned to say in the broadcasting days ... Stay Tuned!
