This book discusses the use of mobile devices in the teaching-learning process, focusing on research into mobile learning (m-learning) and its relationship with Activity Theory. Mobile devices have caused changes in various segments of society. Inserted into people's daily lives, they change the way they communicate, relate, work, consume and have fun (HIGUCHI, 2011). The possibilities that mobile technologies provide, such as mobility, portability, access to information, flexibility, exchange, among others, lead us to question how society appropriates these new resources and how this affects socio-political and economic relations and, above all, learning relations.
