Overview

This book gives the reader a 'tour' of the earth and how Man came to be its master. Scientifically based but still easily readable it outlines first the evolution of man, from the first beginnings of life in the primitive seas, through all his 'caveman' prehistory and then down to today. It traces how his 'human nature' evolved and briefly traces how this all lead to his civilizations of yesterday and today. The point is to give biological and historical context and perspective to why things are as we see them today. At the end, the book attempts to look into the future of man and has a few personal comments and suggestions.
