Memoirs: Selected Poems

Overview

Memoirs: Selected Poems gathers Rebekah Kenton's introspective and spiritually rich poetry into one volume. The collection moves from early poems of awakening and thirst for knowledge through meditations on daily rituals such as coffee, the healing power of inner silence and the bittersweet lessons of maturity. Kenton interweaves personal experience with reflections on nature and place; poems visit London's parks and gardens-and she contemplates the influence of the planets and the arc of life, with pieces on old age, lost futures and life's journey. This book offers a lyrical memoir in verse, blending urban and cosmic imagery with themes of transformation, loss and spiritual insight.
