Original author Katrina O’Brien is also the author of Australia’s bestselling walking guide, Sydney’s Best Harbour & Coastal Walks. She first fell in love with Tasmania while travelling and writing her way around Australia for two years as the co-author of the travel guide Footprint Australia Handbook. When not researching and writing, Katrina is a book editor and publishing consultant. Julie Gill, who updated this edition, is a passionate hiker, explorer, award-winning photographer and nature enthusiast, with a deep appreciation for grand landscapes and remote wilderness.
