Overview

We all know Lucky Luke, the man who shoots faster than his own shadow. But even he was once a child, and back then he was already having grand adventures in the Old West! The young boy is travelling with an old, grumpy, alcoholic prospector in search of gold, when a conflict with the local Indian tribe leads to kidnapping - and he now finds himself the adopted son of a nagging native mother!

Author Information

Born and raised in Belgium, Morris moved to the United States in 1946 for six years. There, he worked for MAD magazine and met RenéGoscinny, with whom he collaborated from 1955 until Goscinny's death in 1977. JeanLéturgie co-created the character of Percevan before he began an enduring cooperation with XavierFauche that produced eight Lucky Luke titles, followed by the spin-off series Rantanplan (Rin Tin Can) and Kid Lucky. Pearce is a pseudonym for Yann and Conrad - the long-established, iconoclastic duo that created cult series Les Innommables and graced Spirou Magazine with their irreverence for years.
