"Anne is an animal lover, and has written non-fiction about health issues: her husband's Alzheimer's disease and her own polio. She submitted articles to her local newspaper, and when the USS Missouri spent a week in Oregon before leaving on its final voyage to Hawaii, she wrote the front page articles. Writing is ""in her blood,"" having begun with stories in very early life. She has ebooks and paperbacks on many subjects."
