OverviewI spent most of my working life looking back at what I had just accomplished, wondering how in the world I got through it. This is the poetry of a surprised life. We teach our children how to dismantle and measure everything but not how to put it back together again. We possess 19 senses but train only 5, leaving us surprised when we begin to sense information for which we were not prepared. According to psychologists (and much erudite research) we currently pay attention to only about 1 10/trillionth of the information flowing in and around and through us because of our limited seeking and perceiving. This poetry includes that of myself, my husband and two sisters and comes from a place where that ineffable information intersects with intuition thereby getting noticed; the reader may note it as personal truth, (even though odd-sounding, as the truth of others often is).
