He currently serves as a Visiting Professor of Spanish at Marquette University and as a Lecturer in Latin American studies for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, as well as literature professor at Don Bosco University. He has published poems and essays in various magazines in print and online, has been a magazine editor and poetry translator. He was a guest at the First Latin American Poetry Festival in New York City in October 2012. Nelson López Rojas, originario de San Salvador, obtuvo un doctorado en traducción de la Universidad de Binghamton, en Nueva York. Actualmente se desempeña como profesor invitado de español en Marquette University y lector en temas latinoamericanos para la Universidad de Wisconsin-Milwaukee, así como profesor de literatura para la Universidad Don Bosco. Ha publicado poemas y ensayos en diversas revistas en papel y en línea; asimismo ha sido editor de revistas y traductor de poemas del y al inglés, portugués y español.
