Overview

This is the third volume in the Timeless Treasure Series which completes the trilogy of the birth of Jesus. Volume 1 is Mary's Story, Volume 2 is The Shepherd's Story, and now Volume 3 is Joseph's Story. Each book in the trilogy tells a unique perspective of this momentous event. Volume 3 finds Joseph and Mary, the parents of Jesus, living in Bethlehem. They have moved into a house and Joseph has found work in his trade. Life is good, they are happy, Jesus is beginning to toddle around, but one day wise men, Magi from the east come to their door bringing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. They say they have come to worship him who has been born king of the Jews, for they saw his star when it rose and have followed it to Bethlehem. When the wise men leave, Joseph is warned in a dream to leave quickly for Egypt as Herod is sending men to take the child's life. Joseph, Mary, and Jesus leave Bethlehem in the middle of the night barely escaping Herod's murderous rampage.
