OverviewJeffrey Lynne, born on 30th December 1947, Shard End, Birmingham, England, U.K, is a songwriter, singer, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist, who co-founded the rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO). In 1972, two years after the group's formation, he took over its leadership then wrote, arranged, and produced their following records. In 1988, under the pseudonyms Otis Wilbury and Clayton Wilbury, he co-founded the supergroup Traveling Wilburys with George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, and Tom Petty.
