Author Information

Thomas E. Harvey grew up in Ohio and served as an officer in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. With degrees in political science and art, he had a career in advertising and marketing, including work as a copywriter, graphic designer and advertising manager. In his 20s, he learned how to fly airplanes, including commercial and instrument training. In his late 40s, he learned how to scuba dive. They were very similar activities in many ways. Currently, he is retired and basking in the Florida sunshine.
