If You Pick a Pair of Peacocks is a darling read-aloud book for preschoolers! I love the lilting rhythm and rhyme of whimsical phrases, and the beautiful, colorful pictures that retell the story of Noah. Excellent tool to encourage family discussion of purpose and obedience. As a grandmother of seven littles, I can happily endorse this book as a great one for children and adults alike! It's the beautiful story of Noah's Ark along with a great message about finding and utilizing your purpose in life. The illustrations are beautiful! I highly recommend this book and gladly shower it with five stars!

Author Information

James is a bank attorney by profession. He and his wife Janie live in Sulphur Springs, Texas. The son of a Baptist minister and an English teacher, James has known and loved the great stories of the Bible since childhood and grew up appreciating the value of a well-turned phrase. It's that love and appreciation that he hopes to pass on to his own grandchildren and to your children and grandchildren through his books.
