They have loved us unconditionally, from the very day we entered their womb, and love us even more the first day they set their eyes on us and carry us in their arms. No other women will ever take their place in our hearts. The story follows a single mother who has worked tirelessly to educate her only child Solomon and provide him with everything he needed. Solomon is now in college and doing well. But each night he watch his mother enduring sleepless nights with threatening letters from banks and bill collectors pile up, frightens Solomon. In trying to provide for his mom, 23-year-old Solomon decides to quit college to pursue a lucrative job in Manhattan, his mother is furious. Undaunted, Solomon follows through on his plans, not only for himself, but also to support his beloved mother. His job involves fencing the stolen contents of trucking containers, which makes him rich-but when he delves into auto theft, he's ultimately caught and put in jail. After his release, Solomon endures a short-lived marriage and eventually finds legitimate employment as a taxi driver. However, an ill-fated trip with a group of bank robbers leaves Solomon with a case full of money and sensitive bank documents, which both the robbers and the FBI are desperate to recover. While dodging murder attempts, torture and prison, Solomon relies on the love and trust of his mother to stay alive.
