Reviews

<p> Sassaman and Holly have effectively woven the central theme of historical process throughout. The line of investigations and theoretical approaches employed in this volume is the wave of the future and should serve as a model for the next decade of hunter-gatherer research. --Thomas Emerson, co-editor of Archaic Societies: Diversity and Complexity across the Midcontinent A prime example of what an edited volume should be. -- North Atlantic Archaeology
