Author Information

Dr Kavita Dehalwar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture and Planning at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal, India. She holds a PhD from MANIT and has over 15 years of teaching and research experience. Her publications include peer-reviewed articles and chapters on urban morphology, remote sensing, and sustainable settlement planning. She is a life member of the Indian Society of Remote Sensing and the Indian Society of Geomatics, and a permanent member of the Institute of Town Planners, India. Shashikant Nishant Sharma is Research Head at Track2Training, an NGO focused on capacity building and development studies. He earned his PhD in Urban Planning from MANIT and has taught at NIT (National Institute of Technology) Calicut and UPES (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies) Dehradun, both India. Author of twelve books and numerous articles on planning, governance, and sustainable development, he integrates academic research with practical policy guidance, making him a recognised voice in contemporary urban and regional planning discourse.
