How Much Did the Blue Collar Worker's Really Lose...? Corporate Fraud

Overview

How much did The Blue Collar Worker really lose? When employees' lives came to a complete halt, to the point they can no longer survive their everyday activities. When we Nadine Waller and myself Sandra Williams suffered many Occupational Injuries which resulted in an occupational disease. Only to find the money through Worker's Compensation payments, Pension payments and Early Retirement payments that was supposed to be paid to employees was embezzled instead. Our identity has also been compromised by our employer. Our lives have been cut off because of the magnitude of thief which has occurred by our Employer's greed. The lies that they told weren't very good lies, they wouldn't hold up under scrutiny in a court of law. This is something we will never know because corruption is so prevalent. The judges are being influenced in back door deals; this has caused an infringement upon employees which is devastating and long lasting. Just knowing an employer is capable of lying on a person and their jobs are their only survival. There was no follow-up or investigation when Nadine was terminated, this is definitely unequal justice. With all the experiences my co-worker and I have experienced we learned that evidence doesn't mean a thing if you are not allowed to say or do anything in your own defense. I'm truly saddened by my experiences with regards to the highest level of the UAW and Ford Motor Company who did nothing to stop the Embezzlement, Fraud, Harassment, Retaliation, and the Discrimination which was allowed to progress against Nadine Waller and I. They didn't allow our grievances to move forward because they were the ones doing the discriminating. They knew they were never going to process the grievances we filed. Ford Motor Company, Woodhaven Stamping Plant, Local 387, and the UAW placed the grievances out of circulation someplace on a shelf for two years. Local 387 never filed or processed any Grievance or Article 33 not even one, on Nadine's

Author Information

Sandra Williams Brassell, was born July 6, 1951 to Myritice & Willie B. Crankfield. I was a very active and well-known young lady during my school years. I attended Webster Elementary School, Amelia Earhart Jr. High School and Western High School in Detroit, Michigan. After dropping out of high school I later returned to complete my courses of studies at Chadsey Adult Evening School and graduated in 1987. All the schools I attended were located in Detroit Michigan. I was very good in every sport I tried out for. In the 5th and 6th grade. I was a school's overall champion in the physical fitness program, being the fastest runner in the entire school. I won trophies and awards eventually lost through years of moving. These awards were very important to me because they gave me a sense of accomplishment. I was on the cheer leading team, I played on the field hocky team, and I held the position as guard on the girls basketball team. I loved modern dance as well as other forms of arts but didn't take my grades serious at that time. In 1998 I completed business school and later attended Wayne County Community College. The last college I attended was Backer's College. I have not graduated with a degree but I have earned 96 college credits. I am a family orientated person who loves children. I have 5 children and have always aspired to be a writer. Since I have retired I have much time on my hands which allows me to utilize my mind to write about people places and events in my own words.
